Mary King has been a linchpin of British Eventing for more than 20 years. Notable career highlights include six Olympic Games, with team silver in Athens 2004, team bronze in Beijing 2008 and culminating in team silver at London 2012. Also three World Championships, including two team golds at The Hague in 1994 and Kentucky 2010, and seven Europeans including team gold at four. Mary has won Badminton twice – in 1992 and 2000 – as well as Burghley in 1996 and has been British Open Champion four times.
